There is a fine line between extreme intelligence and insanity. The movie “A Beautiful Mind” is an excellent illustration.

In February of 2007, the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) made an incredible discovery concerning the DARPP-32 gene. “Most people inherit a version of a gene that optimizes their brain’s thinking circuitry, yet also appears to increase risk for schizophrenia …” Could there be other genetic links?

John Bayne’s article on “7 ‘Eccentric’ Geniuses Who Were Clearly Just Insane” includes stories about the brilliant mathematician Pythagoras and physicist Nikola Tesla.

Crazy Like That enjoys designing products that cater to all the fine people that not only walk the line between extreme intelligence and insanity, but also for those who stagger to the sides. I’m sure you know some very nice people, perhaps even yourself who are crazy like that.
